**Description**

ION Mobility is looking for a talented Senior Industrial Designer who is driven and passionate about impacting and reshaping the way people think and feel about mobility. You will have the opportunity to work on ION's entire product portfolio from vehicle design, to energy storage, charging solution, and accessories. You will look beyond the expected and challenge the status-quo in order to develop groundbreaking designs for our customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Conceptualize and develop industrial designs through sketch, clay modeling, and CAD
- Conduct research and understand trends and consumer behaviour, gather insights and find gaps to intervene and innovate.
- Challenge assumptions and develop innovative design solutions for various products.
- Work collaboratively and closely with the design team to execute various design concepts
- Create CMF + Graphic design for the various products
- Work closely and collaborate with the development team to see the designs into completion.
- Build Lo-fi and Hi-fi prototypes/test rigs for user testing and presentation

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Industrial Design or equivalent
- Up to 5 years of professional experience
- Strong design portfolio showcasing creative problem solving, heightened sense of aesthetics, proportions and design excellence.
- Ability to quickly visualise multiple design solutions at a very high resolution.
- Highly proficient in sketching, Adobe Creative Suite, CAD softwares, Keyshot and other design tools
- Humble, eager to learn, professional and positive (great can-do attitude)
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with a global team from different cultures.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in working on vehicle design on a professional or personal level is a huge plus.
