Managing Informatica as a platform doing upgrades
- Create new project setups in different environments DEV,QA and PROD
- Upgrade of Informatica PC to higher version
- Configuration of Nodes and Grids. High Availability and Load Balancing
- Deployment hotfixes from vendor
- Configuring security
- Implement security model, backup and failover/recovery operations for Informatica platform
- Configuring SAP and JMS connectors
- Patch installation and pre and post checks after patch installation
- Planning, testing and executing upgrades involving Informatica components.
- Experience with Informatica Monitoring and Performance tuning tools
- Manage the DEV/QA/PROD environments with high availability.
- Manage the deployments in all the environments DEV/QA and Prod
- Re-produce the anomaly in the integration / Quality environment,
- In case of erroneous escalation by the L2 support, complete the associated support documentation to prevent it from happening again,
- Qualify the incident and, if necessary, re-classify it as a request for evolution and log it in the Integration Platform evolution backlog
- Experience in creation of mappings, workflows.
