**Key Responsibilities**:

- Delivering swimming lessons and coaching to students of all ages and levels during curriculum PE & Health lessons.
- Delivering swimming lessons and coaching to students of all ages and levels as part of the extracurricular enrichment programme.
- Coaching swim teams at all levels.
- Promoting the swim programme, and swimming more generally, amongst the school community.
- Assisting with the supervision of the pool area and enforcing pool safety rules.
- Assisting in the planning, organisation, and delivery of extra-curricular swimming sessions, swimming team events, competitions, galas (home or away), weekend swimming sessions and other swimming-related activities.
- Supporting the Aquatics Coordinator and the Director of Sport in the achievement of the school’s swim programme objectives and development goals.

**Safeguarding**:

- Abide by the school safeguarding policy and keep abreast of any changes

**Qualifications/Skills**
- Relevant Degree or equivalent in swimming, sports or physical education preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ of experience in teaching and coaching swimming lessons.
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive and dependable team player
