Our client is a major Energy cum Commodities Trading MNC. Currently, they are seeking a well experienced individual to join them as "Python Developer”.

Responsibilities:

- Expand global analytics platform - with rich data generated by inhouse end-to-end trading system as well as external datasets
- Interface directly with the business, ranging from tank operators to top management to drive requirements and deliver a wide range of capabilities
- Work with business sponsors to drive out requirements, have a direct impact on the business
- Participate in the company’s global Python community
- Write reusable components to liaise between external sources of data, internal tools and databases
- Maintain the cleanliness and centrality of the company brand’s Python codebase
- Translate business requirements into a technical delivery following existing patterns where possible

**Requirements**:

- Degree or Master in Computer Science or relevant field
- 3 year or more of enterprise-level coding experience in Python
- Previous experience in an investment bank, hedge fund or a commodity trading firm
- Experience in scraping websites with Selenium, Beautiful Soup etc.
- Good understating of object-oriented design, design patterns, SOA architectures
- Proficient understanding of peer-reviewing, code versioning, and bug/issue tracking tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to drive interactions with project stakeholders
- Proactive and user-focused, with a “can-do” attitude and a genuine interest in the functional as well as technical aspects of each challenge encountered
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities
- Excellent English oral and written skills
- Passion and appreciation for UI/UX (Excellent but not a must)
- Personal projects on GitHub/Bitbucket (Excellent but not a must)
