Singapore MUNICH MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. Full time

The regional CFO team is responsible for providing technical accounting to the life and non-life business in the APAC region. We are seeking a qualified and dedicated professional to strengthen our team in this interesting environment. The role entails a broad range of responsibilities and offers many development opportunities and will be reporting to the Head of Technical Accounting Life and Health.

**Your Job**
- Ensure accurate and timely administration and accounting/processing of Life and Health business, with particular focus on non-traditional treaty arrangements.
- Assure payment transactions with our clients, handle correspondences and debt collection, monitor key performance indicators such as overdue balances, outstanding statement of accounts etc.
- Work with Global Process Owner to ensure reporting requirements under different GAAPs are adequately addressed and implemented in SAP.
- Collaborate with business unit, valuation team, finance team and head office on non-traditional treaty arrangements to ensure the reporting process is robust and efficient.
- Provide timely accounting and financial reporting expertise in the reporting, monitoring and analysis of non-traditional treaty arrangements
- Lead quality assurance for the booking and reporting for non-traditional treaties
- Maintain adequate documentation of internal processes and ensure compliance with internal guidelines
- Maintain knowledge of developments in the insurance/takaful industry, including keeping up to date with latest regulations, legislation and reporting standard changes to ensure compliance.
- Support technical accountants in other Asia Branches on the handling of non-traditional treaty arrangements. Lead and support projects and other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

**Your Profile**
- Degree in Accounting or Actuarial Studies
- Minimum 5 years of experience within life insurance & reinsurance industry in accounting or actuarial reporting. IFRS 17 or IFRS 9 knowledge is highly desirable
- Good Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query skills. Knowledge of R or SQL is an advantage.
- Able to lead projects and perform financial analysis for various reinsurance accounting topic initiatives
