GoNetZero’s suite of digital solutions includes Measure - which enables clients to begin their net-zero journey by assessing their organisations’ emissions; Manage - which allows clients to view, manage, and retire their EAs portfolio seamlessly on a single platform; and Perform - which helps clients maximise the output and lifespan of their renewable energy assets across multiple sites on a single dashboard. Additionally, GoNetZero provides custom solutions tailored to clients’ decarbonisation needs.

Since its launch in 2022, GoNetZero has supported over 80 clients globally through its established offices in Singapore, the UK, and Vietnam.

The Finance Intern will support the AVP, Finance by assisting with operational tasks, financial reporting, data analysis, and ensuring the smooth functioning of daily financial activities. This internship provides hands-on experience with financial operations, accounting principles, and business processes in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting Assistance: Help in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Assist in processing invoices, tracking payments, and ensuring accurate recording of transactions.
- Data Analysis: Analyse financial data, identify trends, and create reports that provide insights into the company’s financial health.
- Budgeting Support: Help with budgeting processes by collecting data and providing insights into departmental spending.
- Financial System Maintenance: Update and maintain financial databases and systems, ensuring the information is current and accurate.
- Invoice Processing: Assist in processing, reviewing, and tracking vendor invoices.
- Compliance and Documentation: Help with financial documentation for audits and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as sales, operations, and procurement to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- General Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties, including organizing files, preparing financial documentation, and assisting with special projects.
- Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Able to commit to a minimum 6-months internship
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, networking and preferably security (e.g AWS, Azure)
- Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Excel Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with different departments.
- Problem-solving: A proactive approach to identifying issues and suggesting solutions.
- Knowledge of Financial Systems: Familiarity with accounting software and financial tools is a plus (e.g. SAP).
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive financial data with professionalism and discretion.
