**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct SCUBA field research on coral reefs in Southeast Asia
- Assist in sample collection and analysis (e.g., sediment, reef and coral cores)
- Manage fieldwork logistics and labwork across several projects
- Deploy, maintain and archive oceanographic data loggers
- Support project administration, if needed
- Contribute to data analysis and scientific writing (e.g. manuscripts and outreach materials)
- Perform other relevant research tasks assigned by the Principal Investigator

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Marine Science, Geography, Geoscience, or related field
- Proven experience conducting tropical SCUBA fieldwork (essential)
- Prior labwork experience (e.g., sediment analysis, microscopy)
- Basic understanding of coral reefs and/or carbonate sedimentology (desired)
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills and software
- Interest to travel overseas, sometimes to remote locations
