**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Commercial Contracts**:

- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, marketing agreements, leases, and terms and conditions.
- Manage joint venture arrangements, ensuring all legal aspects are covered and aligned with business objectives.
- Provide legal support for international trade, focusing on import regulations and compliance for Italian furniture.
- **Employment Law**:

- Draft and review employment contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws.
- Handle employment-related disputes and provide legal advice on HR policies and practices.
- **Dispute Resolution**:

- Manage dispute resolution processes internationally, including issues with Italian suppliers and customer service disputes.
- Handle litigation and arbitration cases, developing strategies to mitigate legal risks and protect the company’s interests.
- Address defamation claims and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company’s reputation.
- **Intellectual Property**:

- Oversee trademark, copyright, and patent matters in multiple jurisdictions.
- Provide strategic advice on the management and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
- **Regulatory Compliance and Data Protection**:

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements across all operational jurisdictions.
- Oversee data protection policies and compliance, particularly with GDPR and other data privacy regulations.
- Advise on legal issues related to marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- **Strategic Input**:

- Participate in business strategy discussions, providing legal insights and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with senior management to align legal strategies with business objectives.

**Qualifications**:

- Law degree
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in the retail sector, specifically with legal matters related to the import and sale of Italian furniture.
- Extensive experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven expertise in dispute resolution, with at least 15 years of experience managing disputes and litigation.
- At least 15 years of experience in intellectual property law, including trademarks, copyright, and patents.
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strategic thinking and strong business acumen.
- Fluency in English is necessary.
