The azbil Group pursues "human-centered automation" as its core initiative for the purpose of contributing to people's safety, comfort, and fulfillment. Azbil is expanding its businesses in the areas of building automation, advanced automation for factories and plants, and life automation for essential services and people’s health and well-being. To further the company's growth, it is also expanding actively in overseas markets and is looking for a **Regional Technical Manager**for the Building Automation business line to join our team. You will work closely with our management team and will be responsible for growing our business in the Asia Pacific region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Using Azbil’s extensive experience in the Japanese market, support in developing life-cycle solutions business demonstrating product differentiation and advanced engineering capabilities.
- Participate in customers' projects which are driven by Azbil Corporation Singapore Branch and/or Azbil’s affiliates. Provide technical support and give feedback about our products and systems to the HQ.
- Work with Azbil’s affiliates sales personnel to provide pre-sales and technical support. For e.g. engaging with customers in clarification meetings etc.
- Uncover customer value drivers and communicate company's value proposition.
- Support the Development Group of Azbil Singapore Branch to research, design, implement and manage the engineering process and infrastructure for the developed products and solutions for Intelligent Building Management System in the SEA & IN region.
- Train, certify and support engineers in the region on the developed products and solutions.
- Collect feedback from the internal and external stakeholders to make continuous improvement.

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the BMS and Automation industry
- Basic knowledge of ACMV system, building management system and network, information and communication technology (System configuration, database, redundancy, virtual private network, remote access, wireless, etc.)
- Minimum 5 years of SCADA engineering experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Japanese Language is a must
