**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct annual performance tests for VDR/SVDR systems and perform statutory safety radio surveys onboard vessels
- Handle customer inquiries and correspondence related to statutory survey matters
- Stay updated on international convention regulations and IMO (International Maritime Organization) requirements
- Maintain and revise survey checklists in accordance with classification societies' guidelines
- Ensure approval certificates from classification bodies remain valid and up to date
- Identify the scope of each survey and monitor daily statutory survey activities
- Prepare and submit detailed survey reports to the relevant classification authorities
- Document any equipment non-conformities identified during surveys
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Ensure all work adheres to Furuno’s standards and the Code of Conduct of relevant classification bodies and authorities
- Authorized to conduct statutory surveys in compliance with the SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) Convention, MODU (Mobile Offshore Drilling Units) Code, HSC (High-Speed Craft) Code, and the Merchant Shipping Acts

**Requirements**:

- Strong technical knowledge of GMDSS and VDR/SVDR systems preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Diploma or higher qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, or Computer Engineering
