**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various types of bicycles, including but not limited to brake adjustments, gear tuning, tyre replacements, and chain repairs.
- Customize bicycles based on customer preferences, installing components, and accessories, and making necessary modifications.
- Interact with customers, listen to their concerns, and effectively communicate necessary repairs, maintenance, and cost estimates.
- Conduct safety checks on bicycles to ensure they meet safety standards and address potential hazards.
- Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts used.
- Stay updated on the latest bicycle technology, repair techniques, and industry trends.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking spare parts, tools, and supplies, and placing orders as needed.
- Educate customers on basic bike maintenance, safe riding practices, and appropriate accessories.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.

**Requirements**:

- Formal training or certification in bicycle mechanics is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Bicycle Mechanic or similar role, with a strong understanding of bicycle components and repair techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of various types of bicycles, including road, mountain, hybrid, and electric bikes.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, from basic adjustments to more complex repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Problem-solving skills to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

**Negotiable working hours during store operating hours but working on Saturday is a must.
