**Responsibilities**:

- Assist senior traders in executing equity financing transactions, including stock borrow/loan, repo, and other related transactions.
- Monitor and manage collateral requirements for financing transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Perform trade reconciliations, resolve any discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting of financing positions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with counterparties, including prime brokers and other financial institutions.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulations, and industry best practices related to equity financing.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and risk management teams to optimize funding costs and enhance trading strategies.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of trading systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in trade execution.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.
- 2-5 years of experience in equity financing, securities lending, prime brokerage, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and risk management principles.
- Basic coding skills required in either Python, C++, C#, R or Matlab
- Proficiency in using trading platforms and systems, and familiarity with market data sources.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and learn quickly in a fast-paced and dynamic industry.
- Fluency in English and any additional languages is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are desirable but not mandatory.
