**Project Title**:
Factory Scheduling Optimization (for Wafer Testing)

**Project Description**:
Manufactured wafers are required to perform a series of electrical tests which involve different process steps, tool types, recipes, and physical locations before shipping out to backend assembly or customers. Due to the dynamic nature of the FAB manufacturing process, the inputs (incoming wafer profile) to the Wafer testing process are also non-linear and non-uniform (attributes with varying priorities), which further adds to the complexity of running the operation effectively and efficiently to meet the weekly shipment goals.

This project aims to optimize the auto-scheduling logic of how and when we move the wafers across the various process steps, comprehending the list of process specifications and constrains to maximize the factory output and minimize waste. The team is to develop a simulation model that can provide the predictive analytics, prescribe optimal scheduling logic solution, and incorporate diagnostic capability for end users to drill into non-conformity in the shop floor.
