We are developing a smart robotic gripping system for vegetable harvesting in vertical farm environments. We're seeking a motivated Research Associate with expertise in mechanical design, building the embedded system, and control.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a robust mechanical design for the gripping system, ensuring optimal functionality and durability.- Construct and systematically maintain the robotic gripper.- Design/implement control algorithm for the robotic gripper.- Fine-tune gripper’s operational parameters to achieve optimal performance.- Assist RF to prepare the project deliveries and milestones.

Job Requirement:
- Master’s degree in STEM, Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering is preferred.- Experience in Python, SolidWorks/Inventor, Matlab.- Hands on experience on building embedded system using Arduino/ESP32.- Hands on experience with 3D printers (FDM, SLA).- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Excellent time management and organizational skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Ability to meet deadlines.
