This role will be based at a manufacturing site that deals with dry powder media (cell culture media) and will function as part of the site Quality Control team, ensuring that our raw materials and packaging components are sampled and meeting specifications. This role will be required to put on relevant personal protective equipment and work in a controlled environment (with temperature and humidity monitoring) to perform most of the tasks during the QC sampling process.

**What you’ll do**
- Inspecting incoming raw materials (for e.g., chemicals) according to approved procedures and specifications. Inspection includes perform physical checks on the containers, labels, verifying that there is no tampering etc.
- Performing sampling on raw materials in a controlled sampling area (i.e., in a downflow booth), ensuring that the correct sample size and quantity is collected as per individual specifications.
- Ensure that all inspections and sampling activities are recorded on the relevant forms in a timely manner. Note: QC incoming inspection and sampling will take up to 70% of the job responsibility.
- Performing basic raw material testing according to approved procedures and specifications.
Reporting QC test results for raw materials, ensure that information is recorded in a timely manner.
- Performing document/record/data archival
- Complying with all quality (ISO 13485, ISO 9001) and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements

**Who you are**
- Able to read and understand English, with reasonable written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work weekend shift (maximum 2 Saturdays per month)
- High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent
- Extremely detail and accuracy-oriented
- Has basic competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Electronic Documentation System
- Reasonable manual dexterity and numeric skills
