- The Asia Head of Productivity is a core part of the leadership team of Citi’s Global Productivity organization, as well as a trusted resource and advisor for members of the Asia Operating Committee.
- The Asia Head of Productivity must source and lead significant programs on behalf of the Asia Leadership Team. Each of these efforts should also be in support of Citi Global Productivity’s goals to develop Citi’s approaches and methods; to build change capabilities across Citi; and to engage Citi employees at all levels in transformational change.
- As the leader of the Productivity function in Asia, the Head works closely with the Citi Asia’s Operating Committee and senior executives to define and execute an agenda of projects and programs to support operating model changes, business effectiveness improvements, digitization, culture change, and business transformation. In addition, the Asia Head of Productivity should be a thought-leader, providing unique perspective on an array of strategic, operational, and communication questions for senior leadership
- The Asia Head of Productivity develops and applies methodologies, in the specific context of the Asia business, to provide hands-on leadership and support to specific Citi operating model, digitization and business process improvement projects and programs, and also provides oversight for projects undertaken by the Productivity organization that have a significant process improvement or process change component. Projects will vary in size, duration, and complexity; will have measurable business value outcomes; and will have senior management to Executive-level sponsorship.
- In addition to participating on operating model, digitization, process improvement and process transformation projects and programs, the Asia Head of Productivity serves as a thought and methodology leader relative to process analysis, design, and implementation approaches and methods to be leveraged on projects undertaken by the Productivity organization. As such, while the individual’s primary responsibility is to support the Asia business and its leadership, the Asia Head of Productivity should also build and develop Citi Productivity’s approach for delivery of operating model, digitization, process Improvement and process Transformation, integrating with the Head of Productivity and other leaders within the group to train team members on the approach and develop and evolve a knowledgebase to support a broad range of Process Improvement and Process Transformation projects and teams across Citi.
- With close relationships across Citi’s Institutional Clients Group, Global Consumer Bank, Global Functions, and Enterprise Operations and Technology, the Asia Head of Productivity can provide guidance and context to the broader Productivity team as to how a methodology will be received or interpreted by a range of senior leaders
- The Asia Head of Productivity reports directly to the Global Head of Productivity and has a matrix line to the Asia CFO. This person manages teams of Engagement Managers and Associates assigned to operating model, business effectiveness, digitization, culture change, and business process transformation projects.
- Performance will be measured by a combination of individual and team metrics including value return on process improvement and transformation projects and programs, stakeholder feedback, and contribution to thought and team leadership.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Partnering with the Asia CFO and other leaders on the Asia Operating Committee, set an agenda of key initiatives and priorities to drive transformational change in Citi Asia’s business model,
- Partner with business stakeholders to devise innovative solutions through leveraging an agile methodology to address process pain points and value opportunities. Plan and conduct functional and cross-functional working sessions to develop future state process models that address value opportunities. Conduct and incorporate leading practice assessments and benchmarking as required.
- Lead Engagement Managers and Associates through the development of project plans, including backlogs and user stories, establishment of Steering Team(s), and mobilization and launch of project teams to support operating model, process improvement and process transformation project launch. Train project managers / team leaders on agile principles (preferred), process analysis and design approaches, methods, and tools.
- Help create culture change within Citi. Reduce time to market, boost quality, raise employee morale and become a more adaptive organization.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 15+ years of experience leading Strategy, Operating Model, Digitization, Business Process Transformation, and Culture programs for end-to-end processes crossing business areas / siloes.
