Roles & Responsibilities

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain effective daily communication with team members via stand-up meetings, documentation, and status reports
- Establish and maintain automated QA testing framework (follow trends, technologies, and best practices)
- Define and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
- Define QA processes
- Elaborate test automation process and strategy
- Proactively share knowledge and expertise with client stakeholders
- Review test automation code written by other team members and supervised coding standards
- Mentor junior team members regarding test automation approaches and best practices
- Serve as a technical expert on software testing with automation framework and lead other testers
**Primary Skills**:

- Min bachelor’s degree of Computer science or relevant course
- Min 10 years of professional work experience in a Software Automated QA Engineer role
- Excellent Communication skills and trouble shooting
- Should have Automation background with experience in tools like Cypress, Cucumber, Selenium, GIT
- Hands-on test automation experience in an Agile methodology and proficient Jira usage.
- Should have experience in API testing automation
- Understanding of primary models of test automation frameworks, (i.e. data driven, keyword driven, hybrid, and behavior driven)
- Good OOPS concepts and design skills
- Ability to understand existing BDD frameworks and make changes wherever required
- Integrate with Test Case/Data management systems (JIRA)
- Integrate with Test Reporting systems (JIRA)
- Experience in creating test and test automation strategy for projects and organizations
Working experience with Java, or JavaScript
- Working experience with Git
- Hands-on experience delivering automation with a focus on Continuous Integration/Continuous Development
- Efficient usage of Design Patterns
- Good understanding and practice of creating Clean and excellent quality program code
- Experience, interest, and adaptability to working in Agile SDLC
- Ability to train and mentor junior engineers
- Self-motivated, independent, and proactive
- Detail oriented, analytical, and creative thinker with passion for quality processes
**Secondary skills**:

- Good understanding of Microservices, spring based automation frameworks and stubs (Wiremock, Mockito etc)
- Good to have experience in cloud environments (including PCF, AWS device farms, Browser stack etc)
