Procurement and Logistics Executive - Inbound
This role is to serve as general procurement and inventory stock holding.
To support various departments (Navigation, IoT, IT, VSAT) purchasing needs, and ensure inventory is sufficient to meet project forecasts’ needs.
In charge of warehouse storage, planning and movement of goods internally.
Evaluate suppliers, liaise with freight forwarders/delivery drivers for inbound/third party shipment.
a. Contact local or overseas vendor/s for ordering equipment/check lead time
b. Prepare Purchase Order using Xero system or Excel/Word (manual, in some cases)
c. Liaise with Finance to arrange payment, or work out credit terms from vendors
d. Check vendor Proforma Invoice - GST included or ship stamp provided
e. Prepare import permit via vendors if necessary
f. Handle DHL/Fedex import account for small airfreight items
g. Handle online purchase, payment and incoming delivery ie e-commerce portals
h. Input inventory purchase and paperwork into Xero system and ensure up to date inventory in stock
i. Work closely with operations team to ensure warehouse storage locations are properly maintained
j. Assist in regular physical stocktake to meet audit requirements
k. Involved in project forecasts to ensure optimal procurement lead time and best cost effectiveness
l. Main receiving person for all incoming goods and ensure correct quantity/specification against delivery order/invoice
m. Coordinate with operations and outgoing shipments PIC for local collection to ensure optimal use of delivery resources (company van, lorry, Grabdelivery, lalamove, etc)
