Stratas Advisors seeks an Analyst to join our Downstream team, which covers refining, petrochemicals, and syngas (including hydrogen) segments.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

This is a full-time position that will support our subscription-based services and consulting engagements by providing qualitative and quantitative research and analysis with the following responsibilities
- Help expand and manage databases associated with refining, petrochemicals, and syngas segments
- Research, monitor, and analyze industry developments, as well as policies and regulations
- Write and update reports pertaining to the energy and related sectors and associated topics, including decarbonization initiatives
- Assist with preparing client deliverables associated with consulting engagements
- Support Interactions at all levels with clients and contacts of Stratas Advisors across the globe, many of whom are senior executives in leading multinational companies, as well as industry leaders and policymakers
- Support business development activities
- Light traveling could be required, as the COVID-19 situation permits

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Must have worked in an analyst role for at least three years with a focus on building petrochemicals capacity and project database
- Legally authorized to work as a full-time employee
- Bachelor's or Masters’ Degree in Engineering, Policy or International Affairs, Energy Economics
- Fluent in English
- Min 3.0/4.0 GPA in undergraduate school
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities such as consulting engagements
- Strong oral/written communication skills in English and analytical skills

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience or deep knowledge of syngas, renewable energy and marine sector
- Fluency in one or several foreign languages will be an advantage
