Job Description: Bank Credit Analyst - 1 year Contract (Analyst, Credit)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bank Credit Analyst on a 1-year contract basis. As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of potential borrowers and assisting in the evaluation of existing credit portfolios.

**Responsibilities**:
2. Evaluate the financial stability, repayment capacity, and risk profile of individuals, small businesses, and corporate clients.

4. Prepare comprehensive credit reports summarizing the analysis, including recommendations on loan approvals, rejections, or modifications.

5. Collaborate with Relationship Managers and other internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for credit analysis and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

6. Monitor existing credit portfolios by reviewing financial statements, loan covenants, and other relevant documents to identify potential risks and recommend necessary actions.

7. Evaluate credit risk exposure and make recommendations on risk mitigation strategies, such as collateral requirements or credit enhancements.

8. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes impacting credit risk, and incorporate them into the credit analysis process.

9. Assist in the preparation of credit risk reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory bodies as required.

10. Provide support in credit-related projects and initiatives, including system enhancements and process improvements.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

2. Proven experience as a Credit Analyst or similar role within a banking or financial institution.

3. Strong understanding of financial statements, credit risk assessment techniques, and lending principles.

4. Knowledge of credit policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

5. Proficient in financial analysis tools and software.

6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

7. Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines.

8. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

9. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.

10. Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or similar credentials are preferred.
