We are currently looking for an Account Intern to join us. In this role, you will work with a passionate team in driving the integrated communications planning agenda for a major FMCG client (and potentially other clients) and help grow diversified services footprints for the brands under your care.
**Duties and responsibilities**

Responsibilities of the role:
- Identify and implement local media initiatives
- Understand the client’s market position to achieve optimal negotiation for clients
- Ensure regular reporting is delivered on time and accurately
- Ensure that campaigns are tracked and measured based on agreed KPIs and media efficiencies
- Develop and build relationships with clients, acting as first point of contact on account requirements
- Develop strong working relationship with key agency and media partners. This will include acting as the first point of contact for operational issues
- Combine creative thinking with factual analysis to develop appropriate recommendation
- Keep current on media trends
What you will need:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Attention to detail
- Great knowledge of excel and PowerPoint
- Commercial flair and good communication skills
- Willingness to think outside of the box and challenge conventional thinking
- Client service and team spirit attitude
Measures of success
- In three months:
- Demonstrate understanding of the media landscape and business challenges and begin to contribute ideas on how to improve on current situation
- Implementation of media plans across both traditional and digital channels
- Great understanding of your portfolio of clients
In six months:
- Be the person whom the client goes to for day-to-day activities
- Able to propose ideas and activities to answer identified challenges
In twelve months:
- Assist in leading projects/new campaigns and/or channels (identify need, formulate idea into plan, set the scope and present to the Director)
**Qualifications**
- Studies in Mass Communications, Communications & New Media, Digital Media, Digital Marketing, Journalism or English.
- Being flexible, open to innovations and ideas
- Excellent English writing skills. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Active and savvy on various Social Media platforms and project management.
- Good at multitasking
