Description
- A Traffic Controller plans and implements the integration of transportation. Responsibilities include planning transportation schedules, monitoring utilisation of transportation resources, reviewing the efficiency of operations, and developing initiatives to manage any possible crisis.
- Ensure job request is clearly disseminated to drivers and ground issues are properly coordinated.
- Main duties and responsibility including to carry out scheduled trucking activities according to customer’s requirements. Preparation of loading documents for cargo clearance. To plan & assign daily transport job schedule to all drivers and ensure efficient fleet management.
- Ensure all truck drivers adhere to all safety instructions & requirements at all time. Communicate with operation / customer service on traffic arrangement and coordinate job assignments. Ensure that all delivery / collection schedules are completed on time. Maintain report and calculate trips. Other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management
Job Requirements:
- Need knowledge of Microsoft Office (Words / Excel)
- Basic knowledge
- Minimum 2 years of logistics experience require, there will be in-house training
