You will be a part of HPB’s Integrated Solutions Division, responsible for implementing and operationalising broad-based, population-level programmes for our citizens, such as in the physical activity domain, the National Steps ChallengeTM. We also put in place strategies to ensure that beyond reach, we engage those who signed up to partake in programmes so as to achieve habituation. We aim to create a nation of people who incorporate healthy behaviours, such as regular physical activities, sufficient sleep and healthy eating habits as part of their daily lives. The Division is also in charge of Programme Integration, where a team is dedicated to design, plan and implement programmes and initiatives to deliver person-centric health promotion based on individual’s personalised health needs and goals and cutting across different preventive health domains.
**What you will be working on**
You will lead a team in the Integrated Solutions Division to oversee three key areas:
i) Technology lead for the National Steps Challenge, the Health Promotion Board’s flagship Programme, as a business user;
ii) Operations lead to ensure smooth running of the Programme on the ground including programme-related customer care; and
iii) Logistics, administration and finance functions
As Technology lead and product line owner, you will be overseeing the development and implementation of the Programme’s business requirements and delivery to our customers, i.e. the participants of the Programme, via the Board’s digital product, the Healthy 365 app and related platforms and systems.
As Operations lead, where you will oversee the end-to-end customer journey of National Steps Challenge participants, including:
- Being the custodian of the HPB fitness wearables and guiding and supervising the team to gather requirements craft specifications, procure the wearables and manage vendors and partners
- Planning and overseeing the distribution and exchange of the fitness wearables including ensuring compliance to established inventory management SOPs and ensuring clear stocks movement and accountability at all times
- Customer support for programmes in the Physical Activity domain, including not but limited to the National Steps Challenge
Finally, you will also manage the Division’s logistics, administrative and finance functions, including managing 3rd Party Logistic (3PL) provider and tracking and monitoring the Division’s overall budget and expenditure to ensure financial marksmanship.
You may also be involved in new and innovative projects, such as those with a focus on leveraging technology to achieve precision public health.
**What we are looking for**
Join us if you are a dynamic and self-motivated individual with at least 10-12 years of relevant experience, of which at least 6-8 years were as a team supervisor or in a leadership role. Besides a demonstrated track record in leading effective teams in a highly matrixed, fluid and fast-paced environment, you should also possess:
- A keen awareness of and interest in the fitness wearable and technology space
- Excellent project management skills and proven track records in the technology and digital product management space. Prior experience in the health and wellness or fitness wearable industry would be advantageous
- Ability to develop long-term product vision and roadmap and translate it into executable deliverables and milestones
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management to engage and influence towards desired product and programme outcomes
- Strong business acumen in order to plan and ensure smooth operations daily, especially during peak periods where there is a strong demand for the collection and exchange of the fitness wearables
- Demonstrated track record for on-ground operations and execution, and multi-level coordination skills
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written form)
- Demonstrated ability as a team player, effective collaborator and resourcefulness.
- Desire and motivation to achieve outcomes and pro-activeness in sharing ideas and suggesting solutions
Having relevant qualifications such as health-related sciences, business management or relevant project management-related certifications will be a plus.
