**Key Responsibilities**
- Install, configure, administer, and optimize:
**RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7/8/9**
**Solaris 10/11**with **zones/LDOMs**, **ZFS**
**IBM AIX servers**:

- Perform:
OS **migrations (RHEL 7/8 to 9)**
Storage addition and performance tuning
Server **patching**, **hardening**, and **security updates**:

- Conduct root cause analysis, implement fixes, and maintain documentation
- User administration and access control on RHEL, AIX, and Solaris systems
- Engage in **incident**, **change**, and **configuration management**:

- Work on monthly **log monitoring**, **maintenance**, and **reporting**:

- Ensure high system **uptime**and 24x7 **production support**:

- Perform health checks, crash dump analysis, and hardware troubleshooting
- Coordinate with vendors and support teams for implementation and upgrades
- Application-level support**:Squid Proxy**, **Apache**, **Tomcat**, **SMTP**, **Splunk**:

- Automate tasks using **Shell scripting**and **Ansible**:

- Knowledge of **Azure**, **load balancers**, **firewalls**, and **public cloud environments**:

- Experience with **Red Hat Satellite**for patching and repo troubleshooting

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Strong hands-on with **Linux/Unix OS installation**, clustering, patching, and troubleshooting
- Deep knowledge of:
**LVM**, **GFS**, **NFS**, **DNS**, **Automount**
**Linux security & audit configurations**:

- Experience in:
**Crash dump and log analysis**
**Splunk**, **Squid Proxy**, **Webservers**
**Shell scripting**and **automation tools**(e.g., Ansible)
- Familiarity with **Microsoft Azure**and **Virtualization**:

- Prior experience in WOG (Whole-of-Government) environments is a plus
- Willingness to be on **24x7 support**rotation
- Strong communication and documentation skills
