Your new job includes
- be responsible of the financial performance and KPIs for one of the cluster or sub-region within Asia Pacific to drive strong financial performance.
- be business partnering with the relevant key stakeholders within the cluster or sub-region to provide timely reporting and financial analysis (such as P&L variance analysis, sales and margins, Passenger Spend Rate and as well as profitability of their respective businesses whilst effectively collaborating to prepare action plans, to meet the financial expectations of the Region.
- be responsible for month-end closing processes including but not limited to reconciliation of financial and controlling results and allocation of shared costs and activity management income/expenses across Heinemann retail entities.
- be responsible on providing department cost reporting to all Department Heads within Heinemann Asia Pacific Headquarter.
- support in the monthly forecast and yearly budget exercise in accordance with Global Headquarters’ timelines, including Profit and Loss and Sales/Margins Budgeting at category level and liaise with the Global Headquarters’ Controlling Team to upload and to monitor Budget-related information and other ad-hoc matters, as and when required.
- be part of Controlling team to drive key initiative (such as cashflow management, KPIs setting, financial dashboard) within the Asia Pacific region and provide technical expertise through scenario analysis that supports internal analysis and better decision making.

What you should bring along
- a Degree in Accounting or any equivalent qualification with at least three years of relevant experience, preferably from a Global organisation.
- strong analytical skills to drive financial planning and analysis and a problem solver with a collaborative mind-set and the ability to support in business partnering with various Leaders and Budget Owners within the business.
- a meticulous, detail-oriented and analytical approach in delivering results while also taking initiative and certain decisions independently.
- a self-motivated and positive team player with the ability to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- proficiency in using MS Office such as MS Excel and Power Point.
- good knowledge and experience with SAP system will be an advantage.
