Job Purpose
This role sits in Group Finance Regulatory Reporting Team. The key responsibilities of the team include the preparation of regulatory returns and compliance reporting to MAS, BIS and internal management.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for the preparation of regulatory returns and compliance reporting to MAS and internal management
- Ensure that regulatory returns and compliance reporting are prepared accurately and timely, and in compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare regulatory reports as assigned, perform variance analysis and address queries from the regulators, business or support units; follow up and resolve any problems / issues relating to regulatory reporting
- Participate in projects and initiatives, which involve process reviews, system enhancements and new systems implementation, that impact regulatory reports and system, as well as to improve the regulatory reporting process
- Implement procedures and internal controls over the preparation of various regulatory and internal management reports
- Partner data specialists to develop tools to strengthen data controls across the reporting function
- Participate in projects that span across Group Finance Controllership / Group Finance and ad-hoc assignments

**Requirements**:

- Good degree in Accounting with mínimally 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Good accounting skills with knowledge of IFRS and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
- Good knowledge of financial products and services and in the area of financial instruments will be an advantage
- Knowledge of MAS regulatory reporting requirements is an added advantage
- Strong team player who is mature and able to communicate effectively
- Keen analytical skills, meticulous and detail oriented
- Comfortable dealing with high volume of data and financial numbers
- Working experience with the big 4 public accounting firm is an advantage
- Able to work under pressure and interested in developing a career in a dynamic banking environment
