Salling Search is currently recruiting for an experienced **Quality Systems Manager**for a reputable and established shipping company in Singapore.

**Responsibilities**

Quality Improvement and Monitoring
- Develop and implement a product quality improvement plan aligned with organizational goals.
- Monitor product quality metrics, analyze warranty data, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Conduct audits, assessments, and collaborate with suppliers to address quality risks.

Corrective and Preventive Actions
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future risks.
- Identify and communicate process and product improvements proactively.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and classification societies to ensure consistent quality.
- Build relationships with partners, customers, contractors, and official bodies.
- Liaise with shipyard personnel and management to ensure product quality meets organizational objectives.

Documentation and Compliance
- Develop and manage quality improvement documentation and reporting.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of product specifications, classification rules, and warranty claim processes.

Customer and Field Engagement
- Conduct customer familiarization with products and gather operational feedback.
- Travel occasionally to operational areas for fact-finding and quality assurance.

Professional and Interpersonal Skills
- Communicate effectively, build trust, and negotiate compromises when necessary.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and continuously develop professional skills.

**Qualifications**
- At least 6-8 years in management or supervision of marine vessel construction, operation, or maintenance with a proven track record.
- Formal marine or engineering qualifications are highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation, dispute resolution, and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in managing documentation and records.
- A strong network of suppliers, subcontractors, and contacts is highly desirable.
