Tidal Gate Operator for Pub Reservoirs

**Provision of Operators to carry out the operation and maintenance work at the following reservoirs**:
**a) Jurong Lake**

**b) Pandan Reservoir**

**c) Tengah and Poyan Reservoirs**

**Duties and Responsibilities of Operators**:
The Operators shall be required to support PUB officer in shifts at Reservoirs and Tidal Gates. The duties and responsibilities shall include the following:

- Monitor water level in the reservoir and canal and carry out tidal gate operation in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Monitor water quality in the reservoir and carry out operation of the low-level sluice valve to release water and monitor the reservoir water level to perform scouring operation in accordance with the SOP.
- Monitor weather conditions.
- Monitor CCTVs.
- Assist in stop logs lifting operations at the tidal gates during isolation of gates.
- Carry out checks on personnels and vehicles at the tidal gates prior to entry.
- Operate valves or pumps for the transfer of raw water between reservoirs in accordance with the SOP as and when directed by the Board.
- Carry out surveillance and inspection patrols at reservoir, catchment area, pumping stations, dams, intake towers, infrastructures, and pipelines etc. as and when directed by the Board.
- Collect water samples from the reservoir as and when directed by the Board.
- Support PUB staffs in carrying out other reservoir operational works.

**Requirment**:

- Possess at least a NITEC certificate in Mechanical and Electrical or other equivalent engineering field acceptable to the Board.
- Have at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
