**Description**:

- Assembling, frosting and decoration of standard cakes. You will be working with both buttercream-style and fondant-style cake decoration.
- Decorating of readymade cakes for walk-in retail
- Preparing components for cake assembly
- Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
- Inventory checking and organisation of storage

**Requirements**:

- have experience in baking
- have experience in buttercream cake decorating (frosting, decorating, wording)
- enjoy working in a small team and have team leading skills
- have a sense of style and current trends
- be willing to learn new skills, recipes and tricks
- take pride in your work, and work tidily

**Working Hours**
- Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday: 9.30am - 4pm
- Tuesday: 9.30am - 3pm
- Flexible working dates and hours can be discussed

**Remuneration**:

- Part-time: $9 - $11/hour, increment based on ability and performance
- Opportunity for conversion from part-time to full-time

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $1,800.00 - $2,400.00 per month

**Experience**:

- cake decorating: 1 year (preferred)
