Company Overview:
We are a leading heavy machinery company specialising in selling and renting construction equipment. We seek a Procurement Assistant to join our team and support our procurement processes.

Job Summary:
The Procurement Assistant will support the procurement team in purchasing equipment, materials, and services for the company. This role will involve working closely with the procurement team to ensure that all procurement processes are executed efficiently and effectively.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the procurement team in the purchase of equipment, materials, and services for the company
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities
- Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and other procurement documents
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Assist in the management of supplier relationships
- Assist in the development of procurement strategies and policies
- Research potential suppliers and products
- Assist in equipment inspections and registrations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the procurement manager

Qualifications:

- ITE Diploma or above in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- Preferably 2 years of experience in procurement in a heavy machinery company.
- Fresh graduates are welcome
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of procurement software and tools is a plus

Working Conditions:
The Procurement Assistant will be based in the company's Tuas office and work from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. However, occasional overtime and weekend work may be required to meet deadlines or handle urgent procurement needs. The job may also require occasional travel to visit suppliers or attend conferences.

Monthly salary: $2,800 to $3,100.
