**Key Responsibilities**

**Strategy**
- Execute the Bank’s global WAN, LAN, and WLAN strategy.
- Support network automation, cost optimisation, and service improvement initiatives.
- Ensure security-by-design by collaborating with internal security teams and complying with enterprise security standards.
- Develop technical artefacts such as HLDs/LLDs, build sheets, implementation guides, and operations manuals.
- Lead or support proof-of-concepts, lab evaluations, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

**Business Engagement**
- Understand the broader business objectives and regulatory environment.
- Ensure network implementations support high availability and performance.
- Work cross-functionally with teams in Cloud, Cybersecurity, Workplace, Audit, Risk, and Governance.
- Provide operational guidance and technical consulting for assigned products or solutions.

**Processes & Governance**
- Uphold change management, onboarding, and governance standards (ESA, ITRG, TSTC, Cloud Framework).
- Ensure operational compliance, documentation accuracy, and adherence to controls and audit policies.
- Maintain technical risk awareness and contribute to the mitigation of security and compliance risks.

**Stakeholder Collaboration**
- Collaborate with regional and global teams including Network Operations, Delivery, Security, and CIO functions.
- Maintain professional relationships with technology and business stakeholders to improve service delivery.

**Education**
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.

**Certifications**

**- Required**:Advanced knowledge in Cisco SD-WAN (must have).

**- Preferred**:Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent; Versa SD-WAN certification (VNX100 or Specialist).

**Skills & Experience**

**Required**
- 6+ years of experience in network engineering and delivery.
- Strong hands-on skills in routing/switching, SD-WAN, LAN/WLAN, and NGFW.
- Proven implementation experience with Cisco SD-WAN and Versa Secure SD-WAN in mid
- to large-scale environments.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, MPLS, IPsec, QoS, BGP, OSPF, GRE, VxLAN.

**Preferred**
- Experience in SASE, NFV, Cisco Umbrella, Versa Secure Access.
- Cloud networking knowledge: Direct Connect, Express Route, Megaport, Equinix.
- Familiarity with Infoblox, Zscaler, Akamai, Imperva; DNS, DHCP, DDI fundamentals.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP integration.
- Basic Python or scripting knowledge.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as ThousandEyes, SevOne, MS Entra ID.
