**Job Purpose**

The Senior Deputy Manager, who is responsible for the management of liquidity gap and regulatory ratio of the branch, and making money from gapping strategies.

**Responsibilities**
- Funding the Branch via interbank borrowing and lending, and manage all associated hedging
- Create gapping strategies to make money, and ensure that the Funding Desk meets the annual plannednumbers
- Liquidity and price risk management for an array of currencies
- Arrange money market positions in cost efficient manners with good liquidity control
- Handle business related issues pertaining to Interest Rates Products - Deposits/Loans
- Match the Asset & Liability tenor decided by ALCO
- Increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Desk’s processes
- Achieve satisfactory reviews in all auditsTo do some short term capital market investment

**Requirements**:

- Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/Finance or a relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ related working experience within the Banking industry, Global Market space (MoneyMarket)
- Be able to understand problems, think critically, and devise solutions
- Coaching junior team members with guidance, instruction, mentorship and planning
- Possess teamwork skills like listening, communication and conflict management
- Proficient in spoken and written English/Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking headquarter counterparties.
