**JOB PURPOSE:
This role is a Group senior management role.
- The purpose of the role is to deliver the following KRAs:

- Dynamic, Market and Customer centric. Clear understanding of customer needs and wants.
- Revenue, reinforcing margins by increasing perceived value of products and services.
- People, ensuring that the marketing team works cohesively with the Business to deliver preferred outcomes
- Process, always complying with Group policy and procedures.
- Costs within budget, as defined in the annual financial projections.
- This role is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and monitoring the overall Group marketing strategy. The components of the strategy would include market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising and public relations.

The primary objectives are:
**deliver the agreed Gross Margins for the Business **,
- in full compliance with the Group’s Targets,
- ensuring customer satisfaction and retention,
- enhance value by identifying new markets and New customers
- increasing stakeholder engagement
- high levels of commitment and satisfaction in employees.

In addition, this role will support the Group’s businesses by steadily enhancing the Group’s brand footprint and reach, expanding the Group’s ‘Awareness’ funnel, and opening doors into new markets, customers and sectors.

**KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS**:

- Responsible for setting marketing goals and objectives in consultation with CEO, Board of Directors and Business Directors
- Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing marketing and sales teams to meet sales and marketing human resource objectives.
- Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
- Institute quarterly sessions for major customers
- Responsible for attending quarterly sessions for major customers along with KAM
- Increase Sales Revenue indirectly through a combination of existing services (Fuel, Lube, Cylinder Lube, Water testing, VEEMS) through new package offers, through new customers with existing services and package offers
- Responsible for planning, implementing, standardizing and managing marketing strategy along with CEO, Board of Directors and Business Directors to include expanding scope that would yield increase in revenue, increase market share, increase geographical areas
- Responsible for achieving Group’s growth targets
- Responsible for developing and implementing the annual marketing plan and achieving agreed quantified objectives
- Responsible for overseeing digital marketing initiatives and overseeing related third party service providers
- Responsible for all physical and digital marketing collateral for the Group
- To contribute to pricing and positioning strategy for the Group
- Responsible for all internal and external marketing and corporate communications for the Group

**JOINT ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Jointly responsible (along with CEO, Business Directors, CFO and Operations Director) for tactical oversight, business expansion/enhancement and corporate governance of Group’s business
- Jointly responsible (along with CEO, Business Directors, CFO and Operations Director) for achieving Group’s annual business targets (customer and financial).

**DESIRED ATTRIBUTES**:

- A Master's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and inspire people
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate customer advocacy
- Must be willing to travel internationally (30%)
- Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management
- Deep understanding of changing market dynamics
- Hands on experience with CRM and SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Adwords, HubSpot, WebTrends, SalesForce, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of big data analytics
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Should be familiar with the Maritime industry. Preferred if this person has Maritime industry contacts.
- Education : Engineer/MBA from reputed institutes
- Experience : Previous working experience in B2B sales and marketing 10 years
