Senior Engineer (Network Infrastructure)

In this role, you will:

- Be part of the Network Infrastructure team to ensure that DSO enterprise IT networks and systems are developed and deployed in an efficient and robust manner towards a high level of maintainability, reliability and availability
- Optimise IT networks and system performance and availability that is balanced with the security requirements
- Manage vendors in the development and deployment of IT network systems
- Drive IT productivity and improved efficiency through automation/scripting
- Collaborate with other members of the team on design and troubleshooting issues
- Perform diagnosis, troubleshoot and conduct root-cause analysis for any issues regarding the enterprise IT networks and systems

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Business Information Technology/Information Technology/Computer & Communication Systems/Computer & Network Technology/Computer & Networking/Computer Information Systems
- Preferred 5 years of relevant IT experience in designing, deploying and managing complex IT infrastructure systems and services
- Relevant experience in PowerShell / PowerCLI / other scripting languages
- Working experience on IT Security eg System hardening, vulnerability remediation
- Experience in implementing, administration and supporting Business Intelligence Tool such as Power BI and able to provide guidance on analysing the data with stakeholders - Good written and verbal communication and ability to influence and communicate effectively with non-technical audience and senior management - Strong interpersonal skills, customer orientation, team interaction/effectiveness, proactive, analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong fundamental knowledge and technical hands-on experience in IT infrastructure technology and architecture, including networking devices such as firewall, VPN, IPS, switch, router, DNS, DHCP
- Experience in planning, designing, deploying and operating system technologies for complex IT infrastructure, project, contract and vendor management
