**Our client**:
A general construction group listed on the SGX Mainboard with 40 years of experience, during which we have handled a wide range of projects, from residential buildings to conservation houses, schools, churches, industrial buildings and business parks. They are A1-graded under CW01 (General Building) and A2-graded under CW02 (Civil Engineering) by the Singapore's Building and Construction Authority.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare budget & cost control monitoring to ensure the project is within the budget.
- Prepare and analyze cost comparison
- Prepare, evaluate and recommend on the award of Sub-contractors
- Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
- Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
- Preparation of Monthly Progress claims, variation orders and payments to subcontractors
- Assist Project Manager in all contractual and costing matters

**Requirements**:

- Able to work 5.5 days work week
- Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Building or equivalent
- Min 4 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Main Contractor firm, preferably building
- Experience of contractual matters including payment claims
- Attending meetings and contractual matters to solve site matters
- Knowledge of purchasing site materials
- Able to work independently under minimum supervision
- Willing to work late hours at site
