Electrician

Ensure that electrical safety rules and regulations under the WSH Act including WSH (Construction) Regulations 2007 and any relevant Codes of Practice are complied with.
- Ensure that all electrical hand tools used on site are in safe and good working conditions.
- Ensure that adequate lightings are provided to all site offices, common passageways, hoists, worker quarters, toilets, canteen and work areas.
- Ensure that all electrical hand tools brought in by the Sub-contractors are thoroughly inspected, tagged and recorded.
- Record the monthly electrical consumption on site and monitor the electrical usage on site.
- Ensure that the Licensed Electrical Worker inspected all temporary electrical installation on site and follow-up on the advises recommended.
- Ensure all Socket Outlet Assemblies are well maintained at site.
- No unauthorized tapping of electricity or unsafe installation at site.
- Report knowledge of any work which is carried out at or in the vicinity of any high-risk construction work and which is likely to pose a risk to the safety or health of persons at work in the worksite to site WSHE personnel / Site Manager / Site Agent / supervisor immediately.
- To ensure risk assessment control measures are implemented for their activities.
- To stop work and rectify or notify WSHE Dept if any WSHE deviation is observed.
