- Calculate hire statements and arrange payments for time chartered in and out vessels.
- Prepare account overviews, final hire statements and balance accounts with our customers.
- Communicate and liaise closely with owners, charterers and brokers.
- Work with our in-house operators / commercial departments as well as our finance teams.
- Check and pay brokerage commissions.
- Handle small marine accounting claims / general hire related claims.
- Training of new team members and other trainees will be part of the role.

**Requirements and Profile**:

- Must hold a degree or diploma in a Maritime related field of study.
- Prior shipping experience is preferred.
- Good with numbers, well organized and structured with attention to detail.
- Fluency in English is essential, as well as excellent communication skills.
- Open-minded and enjoys working in an international team.
- Quick learner who enjoys responsibility and able to cope in a fast paced environment.
- Motivated and driven with the intent to contribute to the company’s success.
- Good MS Office computer knowledge.
- Experience with SEDNA and/or Veson IMOS is an advantage.
