**About Migrant Workers' Centre (MWC)**

Set up in 2009, the Migrant Workers’ Centre (MWC) is a bipartite initiative of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF). The MWC is a non-government organisation whose mission is to champion fair employment practices and the well-being of migrant workers in Singapore.
- Developing, coordinating, and implementing regular activities for migrant workers
- Liaising with stakeholders, partners, donors, and sponsors to further advance MWC’s Grassroots network.
- Recruiting, training, reward and retain potential migrant workers to be MWC ambassadors
- Maintaining an updated database of ambassadors by verifying the data through regular interactions with the ambassadors
- Collaborating with other units withing the organisation on activities involving or catered to ambassadors
- Organizing and attending meetings and/or engagement activities involving existing and potential ambassadors
- Escalating grievances referred by ambassadors to the respective agencies and ensure prompt updates are provided to the affected worker on the action(s) taken for such referrals
- Other additional projects as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Degree in any discipline
- Good if have at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Great time management & problem-solving skills, able to work well both independently & in a team with integrity, sensitivity and knowledge
- Able to carry out assigned tasks independently
- Passionate in pursuing advocacy work related to Migrant Workers and to always maintain a positive and professional outlook
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in at least one of the migrant worker languages
- Able to work in a high-paced environment and support other core functions within the organization
- Willing and able to respond to urgent incidents at irregular hours
- A valid class 3 driving license would be preferred

**Work Location**

This role is primarily based at Migrant Workers' Centre Recreation Centre at 51 Soon Lee Road and may be required to work on alternative site.
