- Michael Durkin- Associate Director - Specialist in recruitment in the Finance and CFO space for Banking & FS We are currently partnering with a mid-sized European bank who have a growing presence in the APAC region.
They are looking to hire an FP&A Manager (VP level) to join their finance team.
This role will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare accurate management accounts and analyze financial data to assess the Bank's performance.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers and measure business performance.
- Direct the team responsible for maintaining and enhancing the management accounting system.
- Ensure timely and precise personnel and overhead reporting for cost control.
- Conduct special cost studies and periodically review overhead cost allocations.
- Identify trends and opportunities for improvement; create forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management to aid in decision-making.
- Oversee accurate, high-quality reporting to Head Office, implementing best practices in finance processes.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accountancy, or professional qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Previous Financial Planning & Analysis experience within a bank
- Experience in a Corporate Bank / exposure to Corporate Banking products strongly desired
