**Purpose of Job**:

- Provide counselling and art therapy to cancer patients and their family in a safe, confidential and encouraging environment
- Connect cancer patients with relevant resources and aid beyond 365 CPS where appropriate
- Maintain proper records of case administrative details to track and archive case progress

**Key responsibility areas
Patient Counselling
- Analyse new cases to determine if counselling or art therapy is required
- Meet with clients individually to discuss their emotional, mental or lifestyle challenges
- Develope suitable art therapy programs for clients based on their needs, objectives, and preferred forms of artistic expression.
- Discuss clients’ artworks with them to evaluate the meaning and emotions behind the artworks.
- Evaluate and monitor progress to review effectiveness and relevance of intervention plan
- Conduct group art therapy sessions

Referral & External Stakeholder Liaison
- Refer clients to relevant information or resources specific to their needs, including referral to healthcare professionals where appropriate
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure best practice and high-quality care

Counselling Administrative Duties
- Draft detailed reports documenting the entire change journey of client cases

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years of working experience with community-based programs
- Master's degree in art therapy
- To be able to use counselling skills in addition to art therapy
- Registered and eligible for ANZACATA or SAC membership
