We are looking for a Packaging Specialist to take on an exciting position to deliver packaging solutions which fit to strategic objectives of company, specifically on the reducing environmental impacts and food waste, improving end-of-life scenario, and consumer functionality. Enable active knowledge sharing and expertise development in specific fields of packaging.

**A day in the life of...**
- Innovation / Renovation: Capture state-of-the-art technologies and materials solutions from suppliers or academia or other external partnerships and translate those discoveries into solutions for unmet Nestle Packaging needs. Internally identify cross-category opportunities to leverage packaging solutions to fulfill unmet needs for Nestle businesses working with TAG or NPTC/market R&D packaging groups.
- Knowledge and project management: Knowledge of packaging, laminate structures, novel materials to address environmental sustainability such as bio-based polymers or even degradable packaging solutions.
- Technical Assistance / Operational Support: Provide cost-effective and sustainable packaging solutions working closely with market or SBU packaging groups to identify unmet needs. Provide critical reviews of scientific/technical content of projects as requested.
- People and Know-how: Actively participate in relevant Expert Networks and collaborate with others in projects. Internally and externally - develop a personal network of expertise internally and externally to collaborate and leverage into solutions needed by the company.

**What will make you successful**
- Minimum 2 Internal experience within R&D (participated actively in formal network activities, good understanding of operational set-up, and is able to integrate business context into activity)
- High knowledge in the area of responsibility: bio-based polymers for packaging, bio-degradable polymers for packaging.
- Recognized expertise across and outside the company
- Industry experience - laminates for packaging or polymer/packaging background.
