Piping Material Engineer/ 2 Years Contract

Singapore OFFSHORE FRONTIER SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. Full time

Ø Independently handle engineering design for required piping components; Pipes, Flanges, Fittings, Valves, Special Items (i.e. Strainers, Traps, Flame Arresters, Rupture Disc, etc.) required in project/plant in accordance with job specific requirements, in-house design standards, and applicable codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, ASME B16.34, API standards, ASTM standards with a certain skills of basic design development and detail design evaluation.

Ø Take the lead in the preparation of inquiry packages, in the technical clarification/evaluation of Vendor’s technical offers, and in the kick-off meeting/pre-inspection meeting with an inter-discipline collaboration.

Ø Prepare technical specifications including detail Piping Material Specifications, Design datasheets, detail design documentation & Inspection/Procedure documentation requests for required Piping Component Vendors as shown above.

Ø Prepare technical bid evaluation, clarification with Vendors for technical confirmation for Piping Component Vendors as shown above.

Ø Check Vendor Documents, such as drawings, Test/Inspection procedures, Installation Procedures, Painting/Marking Procedures, for piping components such as indicated above.

Ø Review ITB (Instruction to Bidders), project specification, etc.

Ø Have a working experience with Japanese Company.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ø Bachelor’s Degree in Piping Material Engineering

Ø At least 20 years of experiences as Piping Material Engineer in Piping Engineering field in Oil and Gas Offshore Projects on FPSO or fixed platforms.

Ø Have proven references of handling Piping Material Design Packages in FPSO project.

Ø Have competitive engineering knowledges of Piping Material Design as shown above in FPSO or fixed platform.

Ø Willing to travel to go to module fabrication yards, vendor works for meeting/coordination, client meetings, etc.

Ø Provide assistance to module construction team during module fabrication, installation/mechanical completion/commissioning

Ø Familiar and aware of collaboration between inter-discipline engineering activities.
