**Project Title**:Artist-In-Schools Scheme (AISS) in SPED schools: Examining AISS through the Lens of Student Engagement and Pedagogies in and through the Arts**:
**Project Introduction**:This research study examines the benefits, challenges and issues of the Artists in School Scheme (AISS) in special education schools (SPED) through the lens of: i) student engagement and learning from the perspectives of the students, teachers, parents and artist educators; and ii) detailing specific pedagogies and practices of artist educators working within the AISS for SPED schools programmes.
**Requirements**:
- Relevant research working experience.
- Able to work independently and possesses meticulous organizational skills.
- Prompt and efficient in communication and managing schedules and meetings.
**Responsibilities**:
- Participate actively in the data collection processes and data analysis together with the PI and Co-PIs.
- Data collection processes include but are not limited to classroom observations of the arts programmes, recording field notes of the observations, conducting interviews and focus group discussions, and administering surveys.
- Administrative and liaison work, to organize and manage meetings, observation sessions, interviews etc between the research team, research partners and participants.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
