**Roles & Resposibilities**
- **Assisting Senior Bakers**:Work under the supervision of experienced bakers to learn and develop baking skills and techniques.
- **Preparation of Ingredients**:Assist in measuring, weighing, and preparing ingredients required for baking, including flour, yeast, sugar, and other baking essentials.
- **Mixing and Kneading**:Learn how to mix and knead doughs for bread, pastries, and other baked goods using mixers, dough sheeters, and other equipment.
- **Baking Execution**:Participate in baking and monitoring products in ovens to ensure they are baked to the appropriate texture, color, and consistency.
- **Learning Recipes**:Study and familiarize oneself with recipes for various baked goods, including bread, cakes, pastries, and cookies.
- **Decoration and Finishing**:Assist in decorating and finishing baked goods with icing, frosting, glazing, and other decorative elements under the guidance of senior bakers.
- **Quality Control**:Learn to maintain high standards of quality and consistency in baked products by adhering to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
- **Cleaning and Sanitation**:Participate in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the bakery area, including workstations, equipment, utensils, and storage areas, in accordance with food safety regulations and standards.
- **Assisting with Inventory Management**:Assist in monitoring ingredient inventory levels, notifying senior staff when supplies need to be replenished, and ensuring proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
- **Learning Specialized Techniques**:Learn specialized baking techniques such as laminating dough for croissants, shaping bread loaves, and piping frosting for cakes.
- **Observing and Learning**:Observe and learn from experienced bakers, asking questions, seeking guidance, and actively participating in the learning process.
- **Safety Awareness**:Follow safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents, injuries, and hazards in the bakery environment.
- **Continuous Improvement**:Continuously seek opportunities for learning and skill development, striving to improve baking abilities and knowledge.
- **Team Collaboration**:Collaborate with other baker staff members, including bakers, pastry chefs, and assistants, to ensure efficient workflow and contribute to a positive work environment.
