Job Profile “Front Arena Prime Systems / DevOps Engineer”

Role Description

The role holder will work on the trading floor and will be the first contact for end users to raise questions and issues. The role is covering a mix of direct end user contacts and technical as well as functional analysis work. During afternoon hours, a Zurich based DevOps team is available to give advice for difficult support cases.

Responsibility and Duties

In addition and in-line with the regulatory borderlines, the role holder may be involved in development tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

Proactive, takes initiative, sets priorities, strong analytical and coordination skills. Good communication to internal clients on different management levels and coordination skills over international locations are required.

Business knowledge of the Business areas covering all asset classes
- Trading (Fixed Income, Equity and FX, Precious Metal,..)
- Sales
- Execution
- Financial instruments
- Local rules and regulations (e.g. MAS)
- Trading, Risk Management
- Life Cycle Event Handling
- Reporting

Experience in Front Arena PRIME and its server components
- Python/ACM, ASQL, preferably ADFL
- Data servers components: ADS, AMB, AMBA, XMBA
- Basic knowhow of T24

Technical knowledge in the following areas
- Microsoft Windows Server (log analysis, scheduling, batch, services)
- MSSQL (Log analysis & optimizations)
- Citrix

Main tasks

Application training for new joiners and refresher trainings for existing staff members

Check logs, analysis and troubleshoot errors

Start/restart servers and processes

In the loop of new developments/enhancements and get involved during UAT phases

Single point of contact for Markets IT (ZRH) and Central IT (local and ZRH)

Trainings and Certificates

Preferably AEF Base certificate (Front Arena) or Python programming certification and/or business certifications.

Language

Fluent in English, in written form and orally.

**Salary**: $4,438.70 - $11,838.58 per month
