Position Summary:
Position Responsibilities:
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Function as a key technical representative on project teams. Able to anticipate and manage technical risk,
- Lead a technical area independently to accomplish significant technical advances related to project goals. Able to make technical decisions that have a large impact.
- Lead cross-functional experimental planning and alignment based on broader project goals. Lead multi-disciplinary teams through complex technical execution.
- Aggregate workflow experiences to guide the development of industry leading user workflows for Illumina products.
- Owner of DVT deliverables. Lead authorship of DVT protocols and reports. Track and log of issues encountered during development.
- Management of large data sets for programs. Use advanced analytical techniques to interpret complex data.
- Drive establishment of new relationships with internal and external customers/collaborators and build framework for continued collaboration.
- Consistently provide coaching to peers on broader product development areas.
- Mentor direct reports on performance and growth opportunity.

Position Requirements:
- Demonstrate understanding of Array/Sequencing systems and techniques.
- Competent IT knowledge and computer skills.
- Expert user of advanced analysis tools.
- Solid communication and writing skills
- A desire to be a part of a fast paced, multidisciplinary, and dynamic environment.
- Detail oriented and highly motivated.
- Work effectively with cross-functional project team

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:
- Previous experience working with high throughput screening technology has clear advantage.
- Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent experience.
