**Business Analyst (Microservices-based Applications)**

**Summary**

Work as part the Scrum team as a Business Analyst implementing Microservices-based Applications using Agile methodology.

**Essential Job Functions**
- Understand/Define objectives and scope of business system/requirements
- Generate/Document applicable use case scenarios for the functionality testing team
- Able to conduct Business workshops to gather requirements
- Write functional Specifications and get sign-off from business users
- Able to communicate business requirements with Technical team and help Technical team to come up with Good design document.
- Write and Review Test case.
- Involve in Quality assurance testing.
- Involve in Cadence calls with business and Technical team as bridge and categorize defects and articulate resolution.
- Work with the IT development team to ensure that they understand the specifications / business requirements / objectives
- Communicate, translate, and simplify business requirements to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders
- Verify that the user requirements are achievable and support business users during UAT and post-implementation phases.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues. Work with Solution Architects, Systems Analysts, and Developers to produce high quality deliverables

**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience in defining business analysis and, solution standards and processes.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to assimilate information quickly and gain consensus from multiple stakeholders when required.
- Experience in driving digital initiatives with business and Operations will be an advantage.
- Certified Product Owner in Agile Methodology.
- Domain knowledge in Financial Services industry is compulsory.
- Java, Micro Services Framework knowledge is preferable

- Analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
- Ability to work as part of team and independently
- Interpersonal skills to interact with team members
- Communication skills to work effectively with Scrum team members, support personnel, and clients
- Ability to work independently as a lead and as part of a team
