**Job Description:
- Be able to provide fast response during live events to vet and edit English live captions generated by speech-to-text software
- Able to respond quickly and appropriately in the event of non-English phrases
- Liaise with clients on event needs, logistics, setting up of system and troubleshooting if required
- Conduct editing remotely or on-site at the event based on the client’s request
- Do pre-event preparation and research to enhance accuracy of the live captions
- Clean up and deliver post-event transcript based on client’s request
- Improve the live captioning workflow and process for better quality and turnaround time
- Support the team in transcription and subtitling projects

**Job Requirements:
- Proficient in the English language
- Dexterous, with fast typing speed of at least 80 words per minute
- Strong auditory memory
- Able to react quickly in a fast-paced live setting to enhance accuracy of text
- Strong reading comprehension - be able to understand the speaker’s words quickly and accurately especially in the Singaporean context
- Experience in live captioning and live transcription will be a plus
- Experience in gaming or music would be useful
- Meticulous and carry out necessary research/checks to ensure the correct use of words before the event
- Good team player, proactive, communicates and works well with the rest of the team and clients to deliver good quality captioning services
