**Position (Job Title): SENIOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT/ARCHITECT/ DESIGNER**
**The Design Practice**: We are an internationally recognised Architectural, Urban Design Planning and Landscape Architecture practice in Singapore.

An experienced Landscape Architect/Architect/Designer for an established award winning design studio.
**The position**:

- Based in Singapore, the position is for someone with a **minimum of 8 years of experience** with knowledge of software and having free-hand drawing skills.
- The applicant must demonstrate these skills as applied to Design Development work.
- Strong softscape knowledge is a prerequisite for this position.
- The Applicant must be able to demonstrate how he/she has contributed to a project from inception through Design Development stages. This position comes with the potential of advancement within the practice.
- Salary is commensurate with the Applicant’s demonstrated ability, skills and knowledge of all aspects of design.
- The successful Applicant will assume a leadership position and will be responsible for managing projects of various sizes.
**The Applicant**:

- Be a good designer with strong technical skills, sound ability in construction drawings, detailing and specifications which are applicable to local and international projects.
- Shall have a good understanding of project management.
- Shall demonstrate the ability to be proactively engaged In all aspects in a design studio.
- Shall have qualifications from recognised institutions. These are BArch, MArch, BLA, MLA.
- Shall be experienced in all stages of project design and construction.
- Shall be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin is an asset but not a prerequisite.
- Be an excellent communicator with the ability to work with clients and colleagues.
- Be a team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Be willing to learn and have skills in sourcing information.
- Be willing to travel on a regular basis for site visits and to meet clients locally and overseas when Covid 19 restrictions are lifted.
- Skilled software skills including ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, SketchUp, BIM, Revit, Rhino, Adobe CS (Photoshop Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft etc. are essential.
- Should have a strong interest in environmental sustainability and inclusive design.
- Should be an independent thinker, thoughtful in their approach to work, respectful with colleagues and clients, mindful of cultural differences locally and overseas, responsible, ethical, reliable and someone with integrity.
**Length of contract for successful applicant**: Full time two (2) year contract, with the option to renew.
