**Responsibilities**:
1. Content management
Working as directed by the Pursuit Leader, assist and support in the following tasks:
- Be responsible for the central bid management library, including periodically updating corporate and personnel information
- Ensure online content library, RFP Portal and SharePoint site content is consistent and up to date
- Follow uploading process to update, replace or edit content components, including proof reading/cleansing content
- Work with Bid Managers to capture new, refined or amended content
- Ensure the filing structure and processes are followed and monitor for any required changes, such as new products or geographies
- Provide assistance to the region for ad hoc requests for information and images
- Content library and portal training
2. Project management
Working as directed by Bid Managers, assist and support in the following tasks:
- Accompanying Bid Managers to internal tender strategy meetings to develop an understanding of a client’s / prospect’s business
- Learn about Aon’s differentiators / key messages and ensure these are reflected in the proposal / bid response
- Assist with producing project plans and prioritising activities
- Be personally accountable for meeting all timescales and deadlines set by the Bid Manager with regards the delivery of bid documentation including reports, presentations and other material
3. Coordinate proposal / response
Assist Bid Managers in coordinating proposals and presentations, including:
- Collating input from the bid response team
- Creating draft reports in Word
- Creating and amending diagrams, tables and charts
- Formatting Word and PowerPoint documents
- Following brand standards
**Requirements**:
- University degree and/or ACII, IRM or equivalent insurance qualification, or commitment to study & gain the CII qualifications
- Experience with new business bids and / or development activities
- Working in an insurance capacity for at least two years
- Work on new business, defensive bids and pre-emptive initiatives as part of a small team
- Solid project management skills and organisational skills, including ability to adapt to changing time pressures/flexibility
- Ability to prioritise tasks and take direction from different managers
- Ability to think creatively and open to new ideas
- Writing and report structuring as well as drafting / editing skills
- Strong Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills
- Communication skills including a very high level of written English
- Experience in dealing with different stakeholders
- Good knowledge on a range of insurance classes and risk management services
- Attention to detail, ability to work to deadlines and under pressure - results driven
- Good knowledge of Aon or similar broker/underwriter with a global structure / network
